Consult the Description Document
(http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/groups/Architecture/documents/features/hf_111019.ht
ml) for a full explanation of the requirements/features/design for this
enhancement.

Highly desirable and planned for this release, but not stop ship
Comment 2 Marius Slavescu CLA 2005-09-28 23:54:19 EDT
You may want to check Bug 97886 for a target serialization format in order to
achieve a small memory and code footprint implementation.

WBXML could be another format for which you might have already support on the
embedded OS.

Comment 4 Paul Slauenwhite CLA 2005-12-13 09:47:04 EST
Note, the code and configuration (port of the core implementation and samples) for this feature is being contributed to the TPTP project. The remaining outstanding work items include builds, unit tests and documentation.

Comment 5 Sri Doddapaneni CLA 2006-03-08 18:47:18 EST
Deferred out of 4.2 as the window is disappearing and there is no help forthcoming.
Comment 6 Paul Slauenwhite CLA 2006-08-29 08:23:20 EDT
Transitioning to new component owner (Cindy Jin).

As of TPTP 4.6.0, TPTP is in maintenance mode and focusing on improving quality by resolving relevant defects and increasing test coverage through test creation, automation, Build Verification Tests (BVTs), and expanded run-time execution. As such, TPTP is not delivering enhancements. As part of the TPTP Bugzilla housecleaning process (see http://wiki.eclipse.org/Bugzilla_Housecleaning_Processes), this enhancement is resolved as WONTFIX. For this enhancement to be considered, please re-open with an attached patch including the Description Document (see http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/documents/process/development/description_documents.html), code (see http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/documents/resources/TPTPDevGuide.htm), and test cases (see http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/documents/process/TPTP_Testing_Strategy.html).
