Some IDEs have an option to visualize tabs; eclipse appears not to (I've tried
both 3.1.0 direct from eclipse.org, and the 3.1.0 GCJ packages from Red Hat)

I'd like to be able to see all tabs in all files, visualized as right-arrows.

I'm currently working through a mess of python code that is formatted with a
mixture of spaces and tabs (ugh). It would be very useful to be able to see
exactly what state things are in. Between the various code reformatters, vim,
and emacs, I'm resorting to looking at the source code in a hexdump, which is
not fun.

I'm filing this against Platform->Text, rathe than just the python plugin since
I think this would make sense for all text modes (e.g. comparison views when
synchronizing with CVS and Subversion)
