Description

André: OK to remove those for the Mac? Yes. Since Apple's Human Interface Guidelines don't mention the "Insert" key, I think it's OK to remove all bindings that are refering to it. Has to be shifted to 3.3. But ... there is Insert key on Macs running with PC-style keyboards (Apple's theme: "Bring Your Own Keyboard, Mouse and Screen ... Mac mini is all you need" ). Hitting the Insert key right now (Eclipse 3.1.1 on OS-X Leopard) launches Eclipse on-line help, and there seems to be no way getting around it :-/. Just to mention, Insert (Help key on native Mac K'brds) key can be re-mapped in XCode. - Jiri |
