I use WinCVS 2.0 which allow the below mentioned location pattern. This 
pattern is not recognised by the eclipse CVS plugin. I do a checkout of the 
module through the WinCVS and configure to the eclipse as project but when I 
am trying to configure eclipse for team then the location related error 
mentioned below is raised.

Invalid CVS repository location format: 
:pserver;username=uid;password=pwd;hostname=host:/usr/local/cvs

Location must have form ':methodname:[user[:password]@]host:
[port]/path/to/cvsroot'
Only the following methods are supported: pserver, ext, extssh

This has been fixed in 3.2 M2
