Moving to the Project Dashboard. Is there a broader description of the sources for these stats and the list of stats to be computed? The list of committers and their associations to projects and companies can be found in the Foundation database. The CVS commits information will have to come from a new piece of technology (log reading or something) that we work out with the webmasters. Other stats that we should gather (given that we are looking at the newsgroups and mailing lists for the dashboard already) is "newsgroup posted by committer" and "mailing list posts by committer". Basically, I'm looking for a Committer Dashboard to complement the Project Dashboard. Will this committer dashboard be a separate one from the current one? Or will it be added to the dashboard_detail.php page? A separate dashboard. The existing dashboard is by project, the new one will be by committer. Of course, some of the information should be part of the project dashboard such as Committers per project and Active Committers per project. Questions/Comments: - Could be possible to get the committer, committer-project and committer-company tables schema/dump? - Are we using a layout similar to: http://www.eclipse.org/projects/dashboard/ ? Is there a table in the Foundation's database that holds the information about CVS commits per project or similar in order to obtain the info for "CVS commits by project"? The IP block info from SmartCity. For the WiFi service to the attendees, the external IP address is 66.78.236.255 Yes we are natting/masquerading on that network and the range is: 172.23.0.0/16 Patch sent to Bjorn on Feb 28. The patch includes some basic committer stats that can be improved on once more information is available about data sources. Once the patch is in place the committer stats should show up in: http://www.eclipse.org/projects/dashboard/committers.php I applied the patch and went to the link, but it is blank. I believe this file will solve the problem with the HTML page not being created properly.
Patch applied, still no committers showing up. Haven't looked at this bug again since we have to fix https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=129862 first. Patch on bug 134275 applied. Need to engage the webmaster. Marked reso/fixed to trigger review. Patch supplied with bug: bug 129862 Reassigning to Bjorn. The underlying infrastructure has changed so much that this bug is no longer relevant. |
