The text of this item in the plan has changed. The new text is: " SWT's basis in native widgets is one of Eclipse's major strengths. For this to remain true, SWT must continue to grow to encompass new mainstream desktop platforms and new capabilities added to existing platforms. For the 3.2 release, SWT should provide support for Windows Vista. [SWT] " See also bug 127864, which covers the GB18030-2 work. To ensure that SWT works well on Vista, throughout the 3.2 cycle, we have been actively running Eclipse and SWT examples on that platform. There have been a few issues in the operating system that have come and gone in different betas. The details of this work can be found in bug 78839. |
