public void foo() { } private static String THIS_IS_A_CONSTANT = 'x' public bar() { foo(/* ( */ THIS_IS_A_CONSTANT /* ) */ ) } If I do a quick fix, and select to "change foo", by adding a parameter, the default name is of the new parameter is "this_is_a_constant". JDT should suggest "thisIsAConstant" as the default.
