A graphical top level summary of test results as well as certain level of
details linked with the summary on overview page, from where user can get a
straight forward overview of the test results and can also easily navigate to
more details on events page.

This will require some model extension to provide easy access to verdict events
otherwise log viewer will need to traverse the whole data model which often
times very large which will eventually make log viewer unusable.

Coding done for feature. Waiting for answers from BIRT to get info. about which pie slice was selected on mouse click. 

Hi, Sheldon, is there a defect or shall we submit a defect for this?

Got the two fixes from BIRT for bug 131821. Tested with BIRT source code. Need BIRT build on or after 3/16/2006 with the fixes for this feature to work. No code change needed.

What's in this feature: 
1. A pie chart showing the percentage of each verdict type. A verdict list section next to the pie chart showing the list of verdict events of the selected type on the pie. Each verdict event is a link to the element on Events page for further details.

2. Extension point org.eclipse.hyades.test.ui.executionHistoryExtension - verdictProvider. Extenders can provide their own verdict types categories to show on the pie chart rather than the default four verdict types(pass, fail, error, inconclusive).

Also the BIRT dependency is implemented as *optional*. So if the necessary BIRT plugins are not installed, Test Log Viewer still works just without this feature.

For pie slice selection highlight, support not available from BIRT.  Submitted enhancement request bug 132347 for it. Not likely to happen in with eclipse 3.2 release.

Closing by default since not closed by the originator in the 7+ months since being resolved.  

Please reopen if the issue is still present in the latest TPTP release or the resolution is not correct.
