Description Michael Van Meekeren CLA 2005-07-05 13:24:28 EDT
When I go to the Product Configuration wizard and enter the following

"Project name:" something.product

I am unable to press Next or Finish and there is not warning or error, what else
do I have to do?

>"Project name:" something.product

You mean "File name:", right?

this is really the Platform/UI's New File wizard, with an extra validation for
a .product extension.

Could you put up a screenshot when your wizard is in that state?
Comment 2 Michael Van Meekeren CLA 2005-07-05 17:00:58 EDT
no, it was "Project name:" I think there must have been an exception or other
error and the page was not being created properly hence the bogus message (i.e.
must use .product) without the finish.

I have checked the logs and can not find anything interesting. Will keep trying.
Comment 3 Wassim Melhem CLA 2005-07-05 17:04:29 EDT
there is no "Project name:".

What wizard did you open?
Comment 4 Michael Van Meekeren CLA 2005-07-05 17:10:45 EDT
That's the point. I was opening lots of them to check sizes and I believe what
I saw was that the contents of the page was the new "Project" wizard page but
the message on the top was from the Product Configuration wizard.

I have seen a similar problem before with another New wizard, but I thought I
was losing my marbles.

This is a Platform/UI issue of instantiating the wrong thing, right?
Comment 6 Michael Van Meekeren CLA 2005-07-06 10:50:04 EDT
I'll move to to Platform UI till I can recreate this to see what really happened.

This sounds like a duplicate of bug 95652.
