The org.eclipse.team.cvs.ssh2_3.1.0 plugin should contribute the jsch-0.1.18.jar
to ant. This way the optional scp ant task would work out of the box, and users
don't have to add this teh jsch.jar file manually, since it's coming with the
platform anyway.

We do not wish to publish the jsch jar for others to use since that would 
imply a level of support that we cannot provide (i.e. API and backwards 
compatibility). Only the maintainer of the library (Jcraft.com) could offer 
the required level of support. You may want to contact them if you wish to 
pursue this further.

Now that jsch-0.1.28 is a plugin in its own right, being maintained by ymnk,
I was wondering whether this shouldn't be reopened?

Apparently, scp support out of the box would be a big plus for ant.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.
