Description
Simon Gunzenreiner
We do not wish to publish the jsch jar for others to use since that would imply a level of support that we cannot provide (i.e. API and backwards compatibility). Only the maintainer of the library (Jcraft.com) could offer the required level of support. You may want to contact them if you wish to pursue this further. Thanks for the explanation, valid point. Now that jsch-0.1.28 is a plugin in its own right, being maintained by ymnk, I was wondering whether this shouldn't be reopened? Apparently, scp support out of the box would be a big plus for ant. We will investigate this in 3.3 This bug is a good candidate for a patch from the community. Should we change Eclipse version for this bug to 3.3 then? Isn't it the same issue as in bug 151629? Yes - 151629 seems to be a duplicate of this issue. This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
