Description David Saff CLA 2005-06-28 12:28:29 EDT
When opening up someone else's Java code, I often am bombarded with compiler
warnings, and it's difficult to dig through the instances where I'm just
stricter than they are to find the places where there might be real problems.
On compiler warnings that can be optionally turned off, I'd love a quick fix
that would automatically adjust the preferences. So, on a "Serializable class
must declare a static field serialVersionUID" warning, one of the quick-fix
proposals would be "Adjust project compiler settings: ignore serialVersionUID
warnings."
