Description Michael Valenta CLA 2005-06-24 09:58:52 EDT
It appears that a transitive addition is not removed from the sync view by an
update or a synchronize. A transitive addition is one that was added and
picked up by he sync but them removed before the update is performed. This was
probably caused by late performance improvements that reduced the amount of
traversal done during a sync. Ideally, the update should notice that the file
is gone and remove the entry as well.

We shoudl add explicit tests for both cases.

We didn't have time to address this in 3.3.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
