Remaining items are: 

- safe mode (a constrained mode of running the workbench - 'training wheels' - where capabilities are restricted in order to prevent common early mistakes); 

- more usable perspective chooser a small image that shows the general perspective layout, perspective groups by role e.g. Java Development.

In 3.2 the follwoing was done for better new user support: 

- more descriptive dialogs introducing perspective switches
- more PDE templates for popular UI extension points
- workspace chooser text has been changed
