Description
Nitin Dahyabhai
This is intentional, although not the best solution. The assumption is once the user has agreed to a license they will always agree to that license. Ideally users can see and modify their agreement to licenses on a tab in the cache page or something similar. This will need to be targetted for post 0.7. Nitin, was this defect opened with the intention of restoring the defaults for licenses, the cache entries, the cache options, all or some of the above? The cache has the option to remove the entries and there are only two options on the page. Is a restore defaults button required? Comments? From the comments in this bug I don't see the need for a restore defaults button on the cache preference page. It seems to me that the cache is similar to the XML catalog, which also does not have a restore defaults button, in that it really manages a list of resources. I'd also like to point out that not all preference pages have the restore defaults button. Some examples are the Content Types, File Associations, and Linked Resources preference pages. As I stated in comment #2, the cache has the option to remove selected or all entries. There is also a preference to be prompted again for license acceptance. It may be convenient for users to have the ability to manage license acceptances but I haven't heard any complaints in this area. If you still think the restore defaults button is necessary please reopen. closing |
